What's New In Investments, Funds? – BlackRock, HSBC, Manulife Singapore

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.

BlackRock
BlackRock has launched BlackRock Wealth Navigator Funds, which address retirement needs of Hong Kong retail investors. The multi-asset portfolios are exclusively available to HSBC clients in Hong Kong for six months.

The solutions include: the BlackRock Wealth Navigator Growth Fund; the BlackRock Wealth Navigator Growth & Income Fund; and the BlackRock Wealth Navigator Income Fund.

“In an era marked by inflation and market volatility, personalised retirement planning has never been more essential,” Justin Christofel, portfolio manager, multi-asset strategies and solutions, BlackRock, said.

Mandy Lui, head of Greater China Wealth, BlackRock, said: “Local investors are increasingly seeking tailored solutions that go beyond traditional tools to address the challenges of rising inflation and longer life expectancy.” 

Manulife Singapore
Manulife Singapore is launching a series of digital tools for clients, including offerings powered by AI, as the firm also seeks to achieve a total of 1,000 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualified advisors. At present, there are more than 700 such advisors.

The firm announced its moves as Manulife FA and MAG (part of Manulife (Singapore) Pte Ltd), marked their 10th and fifth anniversaries, respectively.

The new digital offerings include a client portfolio review tool that uses AI, and helps consultants deliver timely, tailored portfolio updates aligned with customers’ needs and goals. The firm said it aims to provide 50,000 personalised check-ins annually. Another offering is an AI assistant that provides fast, accurate responses on product information, policy servicing, claims guidelines, and legacy product details.

Among other milestones, Manulife Singapore said that in April this year it became the first insurer to offer a digital wealth platform integrating unit trust and InvestmentLinked Plan (ILP) holdings into a single dashboard. 

The firm recently launched Signature Indexed Income and Signature Indexed Universal Life Select (III) – market-linked, US dollar-denominated life insurance solutions that offer downside protection, long-term capital growth potential, and legacy planning benefits. These solutions are aimed at sophisticated, HNW clients.
